Contemporary & Relevant Issues While the goal isn't to answer every question about the topics handled, each section discovers the real tension in various viewpoints. First, as a Christian chaplain, each article comes from a particular bias, however, this does not indicate a disregard for reason. Rather, an openness about bias carries more intellectual honesty because all people, writers included, relate and communicate from a bias, admitted or not. Further, this site was formed to communicate from a spiritual perspective. Readers do not expect to encounter the inspiring words of a commander speaking command lingo, or a chemical officer writing on the factors behind suiting up to MOPP 4. The topics in the following sections openly discuss current issues from a spiritual perspective. Even so, I have purposely omitted certain viewpoints which politically excite many people. I do have opinions, but this forum applies regardless of political leanings, thus, the exclusion. There is no intention of making this a political op-ed.
